- This is my first ever acrylic painting, a commission for a Christmas gift. The painting itself is 8ft x 1ft, but I opted to shown detailed areas instead of the whole piece as the uploaded image was miniscule! I have used gold leaf, glass beads, textured medium and wax to create the various effects. The effects continue around the sides of the canvas which were also insribed with a personal message for the recipient in distressed gold leaf lettering.
