- This piece has evolved from a rough pencil drawing based on a photo taken in Venice, into a large dark painting. Painting on a heavily textured surface, I have applied oil paints using various different techniques to create the final piece. Very dark in comparison with the majority of my work- the edges are painted black and the painting is ready to hang.
